You can enjoy zakkoku (traditional grain) sweets and lunch at our Tubu-Tubu Café located on the first floor. We also hold a variety of seminars and cooking lessons in the seminar hall and cooking studio on the second floor. Our Tubu-Tubu Office is on the third floor and is the headquarters for managing seminars and membership.

You can enjoy zakkoku (traditional grain) pizza and pasta at Buona! TubuTubu on the first floor. The second floor BUONA! Space is a room with tatami mats. We offer the room for reserved meals. We have the office for headquarters and the Work Room to hold small group seminars and workshops.

This is our shipping center for the Tubu-Tubu Internet Shop, which supplies products in support of the Tubu-Tubu lifestyle. We hold Tubu-Tubu Day once a month, offering the chance to enjoy shopping and workshops at the Center.

Atelier of Life & Tubu-Tubu Farm

This is the base of Yumiko’s greatest adventure. We hold lodging events such as workshops for cultivating traditional grains and an open house for experiencing our big family.

History 1980   Set up Fu Future Living Laboratory, Inc. (company for project/design of products for women)
1983   Moved to Sekiguchi 1-17-0 Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.
      Began to research diet and opened Mirai-shoku (Future Food) Restaurant Fu and a shop supplying food ingredients.
1990   Began the study and practice of life connected to the earth and experiments with cultivating traditional grains in the mountainous area of Yamagata prefecture.

1995   Upon publishing “Mirai-shoku” (Future Food) (Authored by Yumiko Otani), dedicated the business to activities for study/research, enlightment, and promotion.
1995   Began to build an experimental ecology house, Atelier of Life. She founded the network for practicing and enlightening Future Food, ILFA
      (International - Life & Food Association).
Began quarterly journal “Heart Net.”
     
1996   Started Future Food Survival Seminar (The present Future Food Seminar).
2000   Held International Traditional Grain Food Symposium (India, Ethiopia, Japan)
2001   Founded Team E Inc. for managing the food and beverage business and transfers the operation of the restaurant and shop to Team E.
2003   Newly published Heart Net as the traditional grain cooking quarterly journal Tubu-Tubu. (Published twelve volumes. (Publication suspended at this time.)
